Kingston presents first 1TB USB Flash Drive
CES 2013: Kingston introduced the world's
first USB flash drive with a storage capacity of one terabyte.
The Kingston DataTraveler HyperX 3.0 Predator will sometime in the
first quarter of 2013 on the market and offers up to 240 or 160 MB/s. The memory monster has received according to the
manufacturer's USB 3.0 SuperSpeed certification, should be backwards
compatible with USB 2.0 and supports Windows 8.
A 512-gigabyte version is availible already, but with the cost of 1,750
U.S. Dollar it is already a high price. The price for the 1-TB drive
Kingston has not yet been announced, but don't expect less than $ 4,000.
